Our Team

Dr. Victor Rafa, D.C.

Dr. Rafa graduated from the University of Southern California with a Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science and a Minor in Business Administration. He followed up his undergraduate work with his Doctorate program at Southern California University of Health Sciences where he graduated with honors and received his Doctorate of Chiropractic. Dr Rafa’s interest with pre and post surgical rehabilitation and functional movement patterns were further strengthened with his four years of experience working with the Hoag Hospital Orthopedic Team. Dr. Rafa has been one of the team Doctors for Mission Viejo Junior All American Football for the past four years. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Rafa enjoys mountain biking, basketball and camping with friends and family.

Dr. T. J. Van Dusen

Dr. Van Dusen graduated from California State Northridge with a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology and an emphasis in athletic training. Dr. Van Dusen followed his undergraduate studies with a Doctorate program at Southern California University of Health Sciences where he received his Doctorate of Chiropractic. Dr. Van Dusen is also nationally recognized as a certified athletic trainer.Over the past eleven years, Dr. Van Dusen has been providing sports medicine coverage for professional surfing, professional racketball, Junior All American Football and high school athletic events. Dr. Van Dusen enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, hiking, mountain biking and water-skiing.

Dr. D. Habermehl, M.D.-

Dr. Habermehl earned her medical degree at New York University. She then completed an internship at Brown University, followed by a residency at Stanford University, in Palo Alto, California. She has held academic appointments as a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Wisconsin in Madison, where she instructed medical students and residents. Dr. Habermehl also performed laboratory and clinical research and her work has been published nationally in peer reviewed medical journals. She has also presented her work at international academic meetings, including a presentation on the effects of estrogen on the blood vessels of postmenopausal women and she continues to be actively involved in research. Dr. Habermehl is Board certified in Gynecology and Obstetrics and is a Fellow of the AmericanCollege of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She received her training and certification in mesotherapy in Paris, under the direct tutelage of Dr. Jacques Le Coz, the only living pioneer of the technique. She also holds numerous certifications in Thermage, Intense Pulsed Light and Laser, as well as being a Fellow of the American Board of Laser Medicine and Surgery. Dr. Habermehl believes in filling the comprehensive needs of her patients.

Wendy Spry, CPSS, CLA, CD (DONA)

Certified Perinatal Support Specialist, Childbirth Educator, Certified Doula

Wendy has been working with expectant couples and families since 1992 as a childbirth educator, doula, and lactation educator. She is certified by and on the faculty of Birth Wisdom, Doulas of North America and the Association of Labor Assistants and Childbirth Educators. A former actress, Wendy understands that entertainment and learning are complementary, and she tries to educate with energy and humor producing realistic expectations and positive outcomes. Wendy is the proud mother of three beautiful children, her biggest accomplisment in life!
